I am a writer and designer working out of Aspen, Colorado. Contact me at: Stillman.Meyer@gmail.com
I was born and raised in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. From 5th grade through high school I went to Mounds Park Academy after which I attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY and earned a BA in History of Art. I minored in French. Over the summers I interned in the Ralph Lauren Advertising Department, in the Christie’s Chinese Works of Art Department, and in the editorial department at Artforum Magazine.
I moved to New York City in 2003 and joined the ranks of André Balazs Properties (later Standard International.) Over the next 13 years I worked as an Executive Assistant, Design Assistant, Associate Art Director, Art and Copy Director and finally as Editor-at-Large, overseeing editorial direction for The Standard’s culture website and magazine.
During my tenure, I worked closely with nearly every department, from operations to retail, development, interior and architectural design, marketing, PR, food and beverage, and sales. I launched several websites, opened The Standard Miami, High Line, East Village and Hotel QT. I designed the One Night Standard App, helped conceptualize and design the ad campaigns and laid out more email promotions and event invitations than I can count. Somewhere in there, I was able to move to Paris and write a novel, The Gentleman Tramp.
I currently live in Aspen, Colorado, the most beautiful and culturally rich small-town in America … The skiing is quite good as well. I work with my sister Etta (ettadynamite.com) who is a writer and photo/event producer.
I specialize in website design, branding, and writing.
